I had never won the game using a troll, so I decided to do it. Trollish weaponsmiths have an awesome skill set (gemology, mining, smithing), so I decided to try it out.

The game started unbelievably well - I generated SMC and killed the raiders and went to puppy cave to drink from a pool. Got a wish and decided to take 7LB's (considered AoLS, but troll ultras are mad). This made the early game really easy. Also found blink dog and dark sage corpses. I killed the druid (and accidentaly a cave tiger as well) and used 7LB's to walk through SMC to find forges, but didn't find any. Gained enough exp to achieve level 12 and smithed some very nice equipment (helm, bracers, belt). I was beginning to run out of food, because the ratlings sold me just a low number of cursed cooked lizards (they restocked after ToEF) and I didn't find any herbs before CoC 39. I robbed the Darkforge to find Nature's Companion, Hammer of the Gods and Long Sting using a wand of teleportation. I already needed to pray twice for food so I figured I'd try ToEF at level 14 before dying to starvation.

I did have a blessed fireproof blanket, but only a few charges in my wand of cold and I couldn't even take fire giant kings in melee (barely fire giants). I first dived in, only to notice that my fireproof blanket burned almost right away and some good equip was destroyed. I was a bit annoyed and went away to DH2 to summon a familiar. It was a balor and I figured he'd kill the wyrm for me, but as soon as I got to ToEF, he just teleported away and I didn't bother looking for him, because my items were getting destroyed. I scummed a wand of paralyzation from a wand shop, dived in ToEF without equipment to dig the way to the temple, and went back to pick up my best gear (including SLB's and other smithed iron items). I figured if I managed to kill the wyrm, it wouldn't matter if my equip got destroyed. I did manage to lure out the wyrm and killed him while he was paralyzed. Two turns after the paralyzation, the wand was consumed by the heat, so I was a bit lucky. Most of my equip burned, but surprisingly the blessed equip on me didn't burn.

Then I quickly dived to CoC and found nothing but water from casino (but water was nice). I encountered a few titans and ran away. I killed the cat lord using webs (even then it was difficult). Around CoC 40 I found a greater vault of giants, which I cleared and found Bracers of War and Purifier. I doubt I could've finished the game without them, but from this point on, everything was easy. I got all remaining orbs (Nuurag-Vaarn was blinded by cursed invisiblity potions, but still good in melee) with ease and survived in CoC 50 easily. I didn't bother to enter the middle room so I just used wands of monster summoning and door creation to win the game and go away from the Chain. I couldn't remove the corruptions, because I wasn't even close to level 30.

I went away before I ran out of food. I was also unhappy because I forgot potion of uselessness and the greater daemon killed Bart before I gave him the golden gladius (among other things). But at least I've now finished the game with a troll - probably won't do that ever again.

That's a rather quick win both in terms of turns and game time. Your char seemed to lack a bit of luck mid-late game. Props for pulling through!
I just had my first troll win myself. My biggest problem is that trolls seem to need a longer building up time than other races, so it's indeed impressive you managed to win within such a short timespan.
