View Full Version : At what stage does Alignment stop shifting?

Previously I'd always gotten crowned early on as a priority, but this time I held off. Unfortunately I'm now having trouble getting it to shift from L to L+, and noticed that apparently alignment eventually stops shifting; something I wasn't even aware of!

I'm Level 25 atm. Have I missed the boat? Or is it just going to take a bit of lawful grinding?

The higher you level the harder it is to become more lawful. At lvl25 it's not so bad. Not sure if amulets of order still work(i think they do), but other methods like whipping yourself work okay.

Yeah lvl 25 isn't bad. If I don't get crowned early (lvl ~10), then I usually just wait for a natural shift to extreme alignment - by killing lots of undead and lots of demons, assuming you're L and trying to get to L+.
Clearing the top level of the tower usually pushes me toward L+ too but if that doesn't happen, it's saving Khelavaster.
Greater vaults always have chaotic creatures with high experience and the fastest one to reach is in FGJC.
Usually cleared around lvl 22-26, I often get L+ halfway through.
Otherwise whip but at this point it would take some time.
