One of the rare games where I've not only got it but also used it.
What I didn't know was that using it drains pp.
Does this mean using it trains mana?
As ranger it's nice to be able to push mana a bit since most cast spells will be book cast, and as gnome I actually have a really good potential mana.

I once spent a very long time trying to train my mana with that for a mindcrafter, but no success. Wands of wonder otoh do Marvels to train it, recharging one of those repeatedly helps a lot.
