Hi,

I've played adom on Steam now about 70 hours and encountered 2-3 crashes, where adom.exe has stopped responding and I've had to reload the latest autosave. A bit frustrating, but at least there are those autosaves.

Now things are totally broken however. I'm playing a troll chaos knight and encountered about 5 freezes after dwarf town in last 5 levels or so. These ones are different from my previous crashes and the adom.exe keeps running, but UI stops responding. I can still hear the music and pressing left-shift, pops up monster names etc, but no other key works. Have to end task in Windows task manager and reload the autosave. I just reached the graveyard level and now the game is totally unplayable. The freeze occures every few turns so there's really no way of playing anymore. The game freezes after I've tried to melee attack a monster.

Any ideas? Happened to anyone else? The problems started soon after I got and started using the moon sickle. Don't know if that's related. Happens in graphical UI as well as in ASCII -mode.

Running steam on 64-bit Windows 7 Professional.

There are more of these to be found earlier. Still, the latest crash happened about 10:00 and that 8:57 is the last entry in the log.

It seems the moon sickle was indeed the problem. I tried to clear the graveyard level at least a dozen times, but never got past the very first monsters. Switched my weapon and could immediately clear the whole level without a freeze.
