First, I decided to replay healer which was my first win one year ago, this time as greyelf.
Wow this was a breeze, I found executor on hrm maybe UL1 (was a few weeks ago) and it was still worth switching to.
Second, I wanted more of a challenge, I threw a bunch of rat merchants at id, then at healer quest and at some point I started giving them numbers.
After killing off 2 promising characters, promising by rat-merc standards that is, in PC6 mixed vaults I managed to get the raven born ZahlerXII through the early quests into dwarf town.
This was really a game out of the norm.
An early game tension room in PC2 caused some grief because I had to kill more than 200 red worms.
Managed to screw up barbarian glade so killed off barb and later got courage from potion/scroll of education.
Got a bloody dagger which was useful in early/midgame.
Early trident was nice but it can be a bit unreliable.
Got an emp lich in dwarven graveyard on surface, fled to come back later.
Despite all efforts (and 6 potions of exchange) I wasn't able to save khelavaster.
I got so many mixed vaults and tension rooms, I don't have enough data but if anyone know it was because of rat, merchant or random I'd like to know, this was seriously out of the norm.
I got several dual tension rooms with 2 types of mobs and a lot of mimic rooms including one on D50.
Got 2! surge of power, first one in COC (after dwarf town I think) for long sting, second one in UL for wyrmlance.
Found a rods (past khelavaster) to get my favourite item girdle of giant strength (find weakness would probably have been better).
Found a 4 charge wand of wishing in UL caves. Saved one charge to bring home.
FGJC5 was the easiest GGV with one single titan which gave me silver arrow.
D46 was a fire vault which gave me hoards of experience and Iron Crown of Havlor.
Found a cool eternium sword of devastation 6d8+13 but too late for practice.
Found a red dragon armour with 16 pv (got damaged down to 15)
I got a decent amount of shops, especially buying water is handy.
7lb was the best buy from a pretty lackluster casino.
Got Natures friend on D49.
I need to read up on those challenger game rules now I think.
