Is there still no way to see special birth messages afterwards?

I'm fully aware this could just be rng out of the ordinary but this lot of early coc shops is a bit crazy:

D1: scroll shop
D5: wand shop
D11: book shop
D14: potion shop

On top of that I found:
blessed bloody dagger (+3, 2d3+5) [10s]
blessed battle axe of mayhem (+0, 3d6+8) [70s] Got 2 of these.
uncursed eternium dagger of mayhem (+0, 4d4+13) [5s]

And I just equipped:
blessed spear of devastation (+1, 5d8+6) [50s]

Lvl 17 elementalist doing last dwarf quests (did pyramid early).

Quite possibly just luck! I've had many characters over the years with similar luck. But no, I don't think there's any way to check special birth messages

Actually capital B "shift + B" shows your history(generated backstory)

The last time I paid any attention to it (1.1.1) it also showed any special birth messages at the bottom below all the grey text.
