Rush job with a wish

As I rarely skip stuff and now often using smithing however ...
I'm currently in a rush game, well for me atleast, as I didn't smith, skipped Ice queen.
I did do the first random dungeon for a first time tome of donors find and I did do TotHK.
I decided to skip a lot of CoC lvls as well, now at 44 days/61k turns (hrm tome or spells that took long time, maybe walk to Tomb and back).

This acid immune, purifier wielding orc priest with cat ring is now :

lvl 25 at D45.

I did however just pick up my first wish.

And currently I could go for slaying ammo to be used against Nuurag (no humanoid slaying ammo).
Girdle of strength because I use a lot of melee.
Or something else, I don't have wand of destruction.
(I have 7lb and I think I have enough corruption removal, saved khelly since I found aols early)


Also,
At D45 a fire vault ready to be cleared out and I think I have whats needed for it, the exp is sort of nice.
I could maybe just ditch the vault or cheese the x bow, magic mapping showed what most likely is far slayer and celestrix.

If you want to be more capable of magic, you could always wish for potions of potential mana, as mana trains easy. So you could gain 9-12 potential in one wish that way.

As a priest I havent found much area spells and number of arcane castings are in general not very impressive, I think I've only passed 1k with frost bolt.
The current 26 learning is more recent than the 7! I started with.

Wow, in that case I'd say just hold onto that wish for when you're in a tough spot. Maybe wish for EM? Xp boost is always nice :)

How about spellbooks of rain of sorrows (acid ball)? Very rare and hard to find for a priest, and packs a punch against Archmage and D:50 monsters, or even that vault. Maybe use crown of science to boost your castings? If you're going heavy casting in endgame, don't be afraid to HPCast a bit as long as you have some decent healing or a couple regeneration items. Or pray for extra PP and use those scrolls of power.

Your St is already pretty high... you won't get huge value out of GoGS, IMHO. Wands of destruction aren't a bad choice if you want to keep pushing for a fast ending (though monster creation/similar solutions are feasible to).

I did something inbetween, killed a few monsters for gold and walked/tele back up to casino where I knew there were a stack of human slayers I previously couldn't afford (didn't use machines). Was able to kill Nuurag also with the quarrels and my 4 stack of humanoid slaying sling bullets.

Now on D50 at lvl 27, upper walls were diggable so cheesed the jelly fights, we'll see if that backfires.

Yeah, I sort of see the current situation regarding balors, its not a pleasant one.
Oh well, if I fail to kill them I've atleast learned a good lesson.

Do you mean that you already used the wish on something else? As a high level priest with excellent stats and Purifier you should still be able to make it without acid ball, but it makes the difference between a long and drawn out fight or a joyride.
