I'm getting into the swing of running a D&D campaign based on ADOM (with a lot of artistic license, of course). I've reached a point where I want to start having the people they meet tell them more about the history of Ancardia and the Drakalor Chain, and I'm just wondering if there is information somewhere that's not in the game. I'm looking at questions like "Was Andor Drakon a mortal who passed through the Chaos Gate to become a chaos god, or was he just always a god?" Anyone know where I might find this?

Andor Drakon was once a mortal. As you enter the chaos gate he says: "Once I was like you, therefore I know ambition." Also, from the myth of creation on the old ADOM site: "Chaos was defeated although a new overlord, Andor Drakon, once mortal, rose to power and swore vengeance."

http://www.adom.de/adom/myth.php3 and http://www.adom.de/adom/story.php3 are the only official out-of-game sources of lore I know of, although there is plenty of good stuff in the monster descriptions (a file with all the monster descriptions is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ADOM\docs for the steam version).

Perfect, thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for.
