Trapped in the Casino with a Merchant's guild debt

I don't usually gamble in the Casino since it corrupts you now, but I got SoCR's from Khelavaster and Mystic, and there was an artifact I wanted so I figured what the hell. I made a nice neat pile of all the things I wanted to buy, then went out to get the money from the slots.

Only problem is I got poison hands while gambling. I figured no problem, I'll just pop back up to Dwarftown after this where I stashed my SoCR's, and remove it. Except included in the pile of things I wanted to buy was a big stack of water potions.

So now I owe the Merchant's guild gold that I don't have, and the shopkeeper won't let me out of the store, and he doesn't want to buy any of my crap.

Is there a way out of here without killing him? Thanks.

You can avoid killing him, but you can't avoid angering him. Simplest way out would be to attack him, and then teleport.

EDIT: Actually there is one way to avoid angering him. If you use a wand of destruction to destroy one of the casino's walls without damaging the shopkeeper, you will be able to just walk out (leaving with debt to the merchant's guild isn't counted as shoplifting).
