First ever monk win for me. I could just run away from everything I didn't beat down with fists. Very, very strong class.

I deliberately started pounding the ice statues on the first Ice Queen level just to see how dangerous the area becomes. Well it turned out to become a cold version of TOEF and potions started popping at a frightening rate.

FGJC5 had 10 great red wyrms. I opened the main vault door and got lucky. Ancient red dragon brought the Shirt of the Saints out for me. Went in there later for frustration over not finding wand of cold or spellbook of frost bolt to get the HighKingRing. Managed to beat 8 wyrms before running out of !xHealings. Red wyrms panic easily considering how goddamn strong they are. I eventually got a wish from pool which went to wand of cold. After that, there was nothing else but dealing with Nuurag.
This also marks the third time I enter the Cat lord level after killing precisely one cat. He was indifferent once again. I still haven't got his ring to this day.

The turncount makes it look like I played this char, I usually take my sweet time.
Also, next time you do a monk run, try it with two-handers. The char is even more brutal in melee.
As for the cat ring, for years I've been going out of my way to get it but recently, I just can't be bothered with the frustration, as it's not that super great anymore, for the price it entails.
Instead, I slay all the cats and even specifically look for more, then just kill the kitty lord for extra exp.

Yeah, all my ADOM wins have horrible turncount. This one was supposed to be an ultra attempt but since neither AoLS nor a wish were found early enough, I gave up with that. Killing a child as a first act you do, seems like a cruel thing but then again its just pressing 'k', then direction key and finally pressing 'y'.
