*******I used a stone spear of lightning initialy followed by a dagger of
death and finally a sword of sharpness. I got Purifier on D49 for throwing
a potion of uselessness and equipped it for the willpower and powers. As you
can see I barely used my bow and just relied on magic.*******

I'm so happy I finally managed to finish. It only took me 6 years on and off

I started in the SMC, retrieved my waterproof blanket and got the hell out. Next I went to the ID to do some levelling and had my waterproof blanket destroyed by something (can't remember, may have been a fire trap). That was damn annoying as I didn't find another until around the time I got to dwarf town. I lost a fair few scrolls :mad: Anyway, I got to level 11 in the ID then went and killed Keethrax. I'd forgotten about Kranach unfortunately. Next I stocked up on food and headed to the CoC. on around D7 I found a bookshop which served me well throughout the game and then on D8-ish I found a scroll shop which seemed to ONLY sell scrolls of identify and light the whole game which was pretty lame. I moved everything onto the same square multiple times to allow him to restock but still the same. Well, I got to dwarf town and got Thrundarrs first quest to kill a mummy which was pretty nice as I planned on going to the temple pretty soon anyway. I went to the temple at around level 15 and proceeded to one hit Rehetep with burning hands. I laughed :D Thrundarr identified my gear and it turned out I had a ring of djinni summoning so I wished for an amulet of life saving and saved Khellevaster just for the scrolls. Went to water temple and fire bolted the place to hell and back. I returned to dwarf town and finished all of Thrundarrs quests then went to the rift. I fell down and lost a lot of potions, missiles and scrolls but I'd luckily I'd left my 6 SoCR in the old barbarian's clearing. So, I went through the rift dungeon to the library and cleared the place. As I recall there were about 6 ancient dragons, a Karmic dragon, a few lich's and a moloch aswell as other nasties. I read all the spell books and spent loads of time there but the librarian refused to give me the wierd tome :mad: Meh, I just left and found a wand of wishing on level 7 of the rift dungeon. I was level 24 at this point and wished for an ancient karmic wyrm. I slowed myself and spammed magic missiles. I went from 24 to 36 :D after this I killed the ACW and decended for the final time. I wiped out the air temple pretty easily with fire balls and burning hands on the summoner guy. Next I went to the earth temple and did the same thing pretty much, although the ancient stone beast took a bit longer to kill. Next was the damn mana temple. I hate that place. I lost around 6-7 point of peception, 3 speed and around 3 mana to the boss but he finally fell to my acid balls. I grabbed his orb and got the hell out of that cursed place. On D50 I'm ashamed to admit I used the wand of door creation/wand of monster creation method. I'd come this far, the fursthest I'd ever got and I just HAD to win. Unfortunately the level wasn't diggable so I did have to clear a load of enemies including 3 balors before I was victorious.
