I didn't find any information anywhere. Write down what you can and can't do to achieve this goal. can I read scrolls? books? manuals? can I use a wand? quartestaff abilities? and so on

You can't cast spells. This includes casting them normally, casting them through items (wand of wonder, staff of wonder, and staff of the archmagi), and casting them as a result of the babbling mouth corruption. Everything else is allowed.

I just got the Magic Hater achievement. I never learned any spell (not for lack of trying but my Dwarf Barbarian was to stupid to retain anything, i.e., all books I tried to read disappeared). I did use scrolls, wands and staves, but never "... of wonder" items. Also got a wish from a RoDS. Some of the scrolls and wands I used included teleportation, magic mapping, monster detection, trap detection, staff of partying water, and attacked with fire, cold, poison, paralysis wands.
