Map Fragments

Can the map fragments be destroyed by water/traps/fire prior to you collecting all of them or are they indestructible because they are artifacts?

If I miss the ID fragment my first time through can I go back and look for it again or am I screwed?

It jumps into your backpack when you leave the level and monsters don't initially pick it up, so it's not really possible to miss it.

Hmmm.. I got to the scroll shop in the AD Dungeon and that fragment wasn't there either. is it level dependent?

I feel like the game really doesn't want me to get to the ultimate dungeon for some reason.

Off topic, is there a way to put spoiler tags in posts?

There's no level requirement. It's possible for there to be random shops, so it might just be further down. There is also a very small chance for the shop to not be generated at all.

Hmmmm Ill check again - I cleared every level and all I found was a ring shop and a scroll shop and the scroll shop didn't have the Fragment

Never Mind, I found it. I went back through every level and found a shop I missed. now I just need to raise the $166k to buy it!

Also I found the ID fragment apparently I forgot to talk to the dwarf in Hole in the Wall a second time
