This was just pure carelessness

So I was in the bottom of hte puppy cave clearing the vault there. It happened to be one of the ones filled with random out of depth monsters. Nice. Picked up many spells there. I was chasing down a baby white dragon i already hit with magic missle it was running away afraid. I hit the wrong damn key and shot myself with it =( I got a mean magic missile it took me from 46 to -32 hitpoints and it still had some distance left to bounce into me a few more times. bah. well here it is.

I did the same except my magic missile bounced from stairs that i didn't know bolts bounce from, nasty kind of death.

Yeah, I lost a fresh character to a wand the other day. I was in a 2x2 room, and was trying to figure out which wand was the create door wand, and ended up zapping a cursed wand or something, and the ray must have bounced a dozen times.

well is tarted with acid bolt. Got frost bolt from the dark druid quest. Im pretty sure treasure hunter helped alot though. Wizards have the best chance of getting spellbooks and the increased drop rate of treasure hunter insures more drops which in turn HAS to mean more spell books. I always try to get treasure hunter unless im playing an elementalist who gets spells from within or a character i really dont worry too much about drops. mindcrafters and necros come to mind as they are weak and need as many other talents i can get as I can. That 3 talents spent on treasure hunter could go elsewhere for them and really save their lives.

i zapped it for a pretty light show, and accidently hit enter for 199 pp and hit the wrong button and went from what ever to -232 roughly...:)
