I had a break from adom recently, and the good ole RNG jumped at the occasion to remind me about the good times.
No dump, since it was all level 1 anyways.
I started a bard, had obscenely good luck with the random skills: Healing, Concentration, Detect Status, Find Weakness.
I go the usual route, find meself a nice bear in the woods and tame it.
Afterwards, I go into straight for the small cave, for the blanket and to locate the stairs down.
Few steps down the corridor, and I step on a teleport trap, finding myself far away from my companions, in a room full of monsters. Immediately, I switch to coward and get the hell away.
Suddenly I get:
"The rat hits you, you feel sick."
Bringing my Str to a whooping 1, and my HP to 1/9.
Strangely enough, I managed to cross two rooms and find my companions, only to be critically hit by an orcish knife.
Of course, I should have prayed, but entirely forgot about that. (-:
EDIT: The second incarnation of Jermina (though less spectacular skills) died to a crash, again in the Small Cavern, again at level 1.
Methinks the game's trying to tell me something.
