The fastest death I ever saw. The reason I read YASD is because the experienced players often come to help with advices, telling how something could have been done differently, and such (i learned a lot like that). But there are deaths where you cant do anything at all. It was a small cave, so it's very possible that something just strikes a critical hit.

I've had shorter lives. I had a character that survived a little over an hour. He got attacked on the road to Terrinyo, and slain by two critical arrows in a row. Might I add that he had 0 kills, and had never visited anything.

I'm pretty sure that you can't be attacked on the road to Terinyo - at least it never happened to me(and I'm playing Adom since 1999).

I seem to remember getting jumped by Kranach's group before reaching Terinyo, many many moons ago (in an older version of ADOM). It's only happened once and I've run thousands of characters...

I had one character who tried to open the first door of the Village Dungeon... And lots of rocks fell over him. My fastest death so far.

Don't think i got attacked before terinyo, although I have succeeded in killing myself before then on numerous occasions.

Deaths before first kill? Probably hundreds....
