I was going to the DDL to pick up a teleport wand after scoring teleport control, when something threw a rock at me from out of view. I was taken from 45/45 to -187/45 (To 7) in one hit.

I was :eek: at the mere POSSIBILITY of this in an otherwise safe area, and when I checked to see who did it, it was a cyclops.

And I've never seen a cyclops do that much damage in one hit either. Must've been one super-crit.

Was your character in a room filled with deadly chilling silence when he got hit by the cyclops?

I don't think so, but perhaps I was moving too quickly to catch it. Either way, I managed to get another wizard much further, with 80k points and the Griff quest done.
