Very, very dumb question

I know, I know, it IS a very newbe question, but I can't find how to sell stuff to merchants.
Can anybody help me?

First - Find a shop.

Second - Go in.

Third - 'd'rop something you want to sell.

Fourth - Accept the payment with 'y' or decline with 'n'.

To sell "everything", you need to be in a general store. There is one in the oulaw village SW of terinyo, and some other places too.

Specialized shops, like the food shop in terinyo, will only buy their specialty item back. So food-type items only. Corpses, herbs are okay.

Certain shops only accept certain items. The first shop in Terinyo only buys food items for instace (useful actually for keeping corpses you want preserved to use later). The shop in the bandit town accepts everything, but the prices there aren't generally that great.

And of course, remain wary of shop keeper prejudices! If you're a Dark Elf, don't bother with Waldenbrooks!
