Kill Terinyo!!!!

Do you ever get the urge to just enter Terinyo, and
kill everything in sight. Well, I sure do!

Here is a demo of an exp. level 1 human archer, who
enters Terinyo, and procedes to slaghter everything
that moves. For an added challenge, I played with a
special restriction, of not leaving town until every
living thing was dead. Not for food, healing, or any
other reason.

It took many deaths, to develope a workable strategy.
I killed SO MANY grey elves, before realizing that
humans were really the race for this. If anyone can
come up with alternative strategies, please record
a demo and post it. I am very interested to see if
there are other ways of doing this.

The .exe demo is here, it is 279 KB and runs about
15 minutes. This one is in .exe form, so that
everyone can watch, but it will not have fast
forwarding ability.

I have also posted the file as a screen.rec file, so
it can be paused, fast forwarded, and so on. You will

Never would have thought of trying it with an archer... Tried it a few times with elementalists and wizards. With an elementalist starting with a scroll of darkness wiping out everyone but the druid was easy (obviously shopkeeper killed in darkness). I guess if you start with a wand of acid too you could bag Guth'Alak. I've tried a few times with a wizard starting with the heir gift and acid bolt and darkness - some decent success, though never managed to kill the shopkeeper. He has a tendency to run away in darkness.

I too have tried mainly wizards and elementalists, and failed with shopkeeper... Nice work Gut - did you quit the chain for submission to the HoF?

I like how you left one arrow behind in the shop, as a potential clue for any heroes passing through - a nice touch.

I went to Lawenilothehl, after decimating Terinyo.
I want to kill every living thing I come across, as
traveling through the wilderness. Terinyo, bandit
town, old barbarian, then the Mad Minstrel.

I am currently getting hung up on stupid Barnabus.
It's really the thugs that make it so hard. I died
on that demo, and many more times as well. I will
kill them all eventually though... and I'll get it on
tape! : )

The shopkeeper in the bandit village isn't human, unless you play a human yourself, so Destroy all Humans isn't completely accurate. "Kill 'em All"?

The Pyramid could also be included.

wasn't hard just good deal boring.

style wise it was awful, but that was very safe run. never really was in any sort of danger.

p.s. just before questions arise Soira is just a shorter version of Soirana.

Yeah, basically you said it. My comment about leveling to 50 just implied that Gut did it more "fair and square" IMO.

I've killed Barnabas with a level 1 troll using darkness before - was very easy in fact.

Awesome demo. I get the urge to slaughter Terinyo all the time, but Guth'Alak always fixes that 'problem'. Does this mean humans are mediocre at everything except level 1 mass slaughtering parties? Something must have snapped when a group of elves showed up at their graduation from Archer Academy to laugh at them.
