Try it and you will have one Uber Dead troll.

Stash it somewhere, and then go complete the game. Doing all the right things along the way, casting it at the right time, might be able to use it. Unless you go for an Archmage ending, then it'll be useful.

Scumming for the PP and HP needed to cast it even once might be worth it if you absolutely need a wish (like for ultra ending stuff that refuses to be found) and can't find one.

Thats gonna be hard work though - you will need to be book-casting lesser spells like crazy in the early game to train your mana... I guess healer/pet abuse would be an option... By the time a troll scums enough to be able to cast Wish from memory, what are the chances of not having found a wish?

I used to quite like trollish wizards... I might give your saved game a try :)

but before casting it, you have to learn the book, and if you want to do it, you have to be bloated twice !
