Best scoreboard death

Being a bit of a noob at this game, my 15 gray elven elementalist was the highest character I had played. I thought I was doing fairly well for myself, especially after accidentally spending 20k+ on Learning training (pressed enter without an amount...) and having spells of uncursing and invisibility (though the RNG didn't like me finding books, except in random wilderness encounters) and even having killed a hydra, before knowing they could kill me in 2 hits. I had recovered from having all my items cursed when I sacrificed on a neutral alter before noting I had gone C, and was on my way to do the tree level quest, when I ran into a little problem...

I think this is my silliest death ever.

I've been there : )

I recently opened a door while standing straight in front of it,
and got killed by a stone block trap. The funny thing, is that I
was carrying a melon at the time, so my death message read
something like: "You are not nimble enough to avoid the falling
stone block. Your melon is crushed. You die... Would you like to
see the last messages before your death?"

Well, if my mellon is crushed, I suppose dying is inevitable : )

Know that spot in the bottom level of the pyramid right before the room that contains the stairs up where you first have to find three secret doors, and where you essentially have to cross five traps in a row?

Gray elven wizard thinking to himself "Well, I'm a level 16 gray elven wizard so traps can't hurt me, so I'll just keep on walking"... Broke his neck in a pit trap.

Extremely silly, yeah. But for every silly death you will find that 90&#37; of serious ADOM players have died it or a similar death, oftentimes more than once.

Thats one more reason I hate the pyramid... Never have time to get detect traps for a sub 40000 turns game, and if you don't have spense, the traps can really slow you down...
