Paladin, the Dwarven Paladin
^ Such an inspired name ^
First kill: Bandit
Teryino quests
It was going great, got the blanket and found the stairs in the small cave, done the puppy quest with no problems at all. Sacrificed 'till 'extremely close' at an altar in the Puppy Cave, got pre-crowning: Bracers of War: yay! :D
I seemed invincible. Rescued the carpenter, got healing, nothing of interest otherwise. Learned bridge building from Yriggs and headed back to the small cave. Went down to the UD finding a few spellbooks on the way, and entered the HMV. Nothing much in the shop, bought a Potion of invisibility and some other generic stuff I thought I would need. Left through the back entrance.
First levels of the CoC were pretty boring, no exciting new equipment. Bought a load of cooked lizards on the arena level and went down into the big room. The herbs were in frustrating patterns, so I left them alone (explaining my lack of herbs in inventory). Got the si. Entered dwarftown. Again, nothing interesting in shop besides a fireproof blanket, which I bought.
Thundrarrs quests
Monster quest: ..was a kobold! Yay! Nice and easy. Went up a few levels and killed one. (I think it was around here that my waterproof blanket got destroyed. :() The big room got overrun by spider factories and their pets. Still, helped me get poison resistance.
Animated forest quest: Easy. My potion of invis I bought at the HMV was blessed and drunk.
Griff quest: Not too hard, I found a large adamantium hammer that I began using, blessed it, and put it with my large crystal shield. There was a little chase scene where the necromancer decided it would be fun to run around in circles :D. Dug up Griffs grave (when I caught Nonnak), got the sword and the elemental gauntlets and left.
Pyramid
Done around level 13.
Also easy, jackel demons just couldn't confuse me (thank you bracers of war). Used a couple of charges from my wand of fireballs and that was that. Got the ankh, ancient mummy wrapping and the cache of tools on the first level, and left.
Tomb of High Kings
Dumped a load of stuff at the Barbarians Glade, and chopped down his trees. Got about 12 logs (I had low bridge building). Used Lordly Might to help carry it and went to the Tomb of High Kings. Built a bridge over the lake, and pummelled the undead king to his (death?). Collected the ring and left.
Thundrarrs quests (2)
Ogre tribe: easy, slaughtered them with the ancient mummy wrapping, made those ogre magus easier to kill. Got 2 helms of water breathing here. There was also an altar, which I sacced some ogres on.
Champion: easy, besides having to fight a cat, teleported it out though. (Got the spell from a potion (or wand?) of wonder. Got the extra skills and marks from the gladiatior and that was that. No Rolfs Saviour though. (how exactly is it possible to get this?)
Greater Daemon: My hammer made short work of him.
Khelavaster
Went down a few more levels (using the halls this time). And met Khelly for the first time! Zapped a random wand to clear the room ball lightning! I was lucky and it went in the right direction. Killed the rest without trouble and let Khelly die.
CoC Graveyard
Yeah.. this is where I messed up. I slaughtered every undead beast that dared attack. Liches annoyed me but weren't too difficult..
..until I stepped on the altar. I just didn't see it. Liches sacced me instantly.
Ah well. My awesomest character by far has ranked highest in the high score.
