Today I played ADOM after a long pause. I created a HE priest, who then went to do the puppy quest. He leveled quite nicely, gained 3 levels from a single rat tension room, and picked the Treasure Hunter talent. After a goblin tension room, I looked at the items dropped - and couldn't believe my luck when I saw a pair of worn boots! :D With my new boots I happily went to explore rest of the level only to get killed instantly by a stone block trap. The RN God is powerful indeed.
