Once you get into late-game ADOM, your list of stuff is so ridicously large, that it takes a while to complete simple tasks such as using a potion or scroll.

To combat this issue, I suggest that inventory is more limited. So no strength of atlas spellbooks.

Also I hope Mr. Biskup will use the inventory system from Incursion (http://www.incursion-roguelike.net) and Omega (http://sourceforge.net/projects/omega-roguelike). While it took a little while to learn item management with these systems, I think it is vastly superior and much faster than the ADOM system, which while intuitive and user-friendly is a bit cumbersome, especially in the late game.

Perhaps the "view items" list can be nested; pressing "a" will expand/collapse a list of items.

Is mouse support out of the question in JADE? Would make things like teleporting easier too (ADOM Sage gives this feature - it's quite handy). The inventory could appear in a window with a scroll bar, so you could use either the traditional keypresses or scroll through and click with the mouse. I'd personally find this a lot easier to use.

Also pressing SHIFT+[letter] could only show items and items with functions beginning with that letter.

This should be in the RFE tracker. Anyway, easier inventory handling sounds like a good idea. Mouse for teleporting... not really, I am too lazy to take my hands off the keyboard.

Mouse might be a good idea for some players, personally I won't use it, unless i'm using a laptop, the lack of numpad makes movement annoying, and mouse might be a good idea for some movements, so think that grey raises a great point.

Yeah, this should be a RFE
