I won with a dark elf archer, and used some scummy methods too. Not a great victory, but an enjoyable one.
So I will confess my sins. Lured the Banshee to the forest. Hopped some stairs for a blink dog - and because it took a long time before the dog showed up, my perception skyrocketed. Wanted to avoid the "good learner" talent, but in the end I couldn't resist the temptation. :o Oh well.
Remarkable events:
Precrowned with Hammerhead and crowned with Whirlwind, an excellent combination!
Surge of Power on D:1, was a named chaos brother carrying the black tome. Coincidence?
First dwarf quest: cave lion. But I want the ring! (And even actually got in in the end - my first.) No dwarf quests for me.
ToEF: This was very interesting. Only had 1 blanket and it burned while I was busy killing the Wyrm. Whirlwind + huge stack of rocks saved the day, but it was a pretty close call.
The rest of the game was pretty easy. There was a greater undead vault that I cleared after winning, which was loads of fun with a good amount of slaying ammo and the level 50 archer class power.
