My Human Fighter was in the Village Dungeon level 6 and coming across a room filled with wererats (at least 9) and Ogres (4 of them). Killed all the Ogres, over a hundred rats, and nine wererats. Finally, backed into a corner, he starved to death, even after quaffing a few potions.
