... Drakeling priests seem like a solid choice. I played on the server so I took Candle as an extra bonus. What drakeling priests miss in power they make up for in versatility. Detect item status, the ability to use melee, missiles and magic, and if you lack offensive spells, there is always the drakeling spit ability.

Sadly priests seem to get less castings for spells. They also are much less likely to find any offensive spells, and I found no ball spells the entire game. Priests lack the missile ability of an archer, and they are as good in melee as barbs. For drakelings, D49 cold can be quite annoying, but the speed boost make the tower easy.

In the game I got fairly lucky with artifacts. I ignored a greater undead vault (the dwarven pick axe "Hammerhead", the black tome of Alsophocus, the emerald dagger "Serpent's Bite") and I looted BoW and purifier from a greater giant vault. A surge of power on the level after the giant vault gave me the medium obsidian shield "Protector".

The thing I lacked most in this game was sources of chaos removal. I killed the shopkeeper in dwarftown (he was holding on to preserver) before talking to the mystic so he replied with 'ye art doomed' xD. Khelly was not saved. I didn't have stealth so the library was unavailable. I obtained 2 PoCC from the Druid, then I killed him so I could get the Shield of Raw Steel making more potions and the unicorn quest unavailable. After closing the gate I used the 3 SoCR from the bug temple, and I ended the game with 4 corruptions.

I used a wish in darkforge for an ancient karmic wyrm, that got me from lvl ~15 to lvl ~30. After that I did the tower of eternal flames but I even forgot to use the shield of raw steel LOL because thats how overpowered I was. A ring of ice was obtained from one of the many shops I found.

He found a tension room of titans, so 37 titans where killed.

What stopped you from getting Stealth from Yergius?

I didn't bother with pickpocketing, altho I did pick up the skill. By the time I was worrying about corruption, my level was already to high to get stealth to 100 the easy way. Also my climbing was stuck at around 74 or so. I could prolly have done it (at lvl 50 after closing the gate) but it felt like a waist of time.
