First win - Talyn, Drakeling Monk, closed the gate (1.1.1)
I first started playing ADOM about 2 months ago around October 15th. After a brief 2 week break in November, I managed to get my first win tonight. Thanks to everyone who gave me help and answered questions in the #adom IRC channel along the way. I've commented in a bit here and there. If anyone is curious about how anything went I am more than willing to answer - I found Drakeling Monk to be extremely powerful and would definitely give it another go.
Crowning with Ring of Immunity in the UD definitely made TOEF a lot easier - sacced a whole vault worth of crap - orcs, as I recall.
Things I passed on doing:
Bug Temple(seemed very scary as a melee, and I wanted to save my limited Acid Ball castings for Mana Temple/D:50)
Rift/Library(inventory destruction would have been quite saddening)
Gremlin Cave
Blue Dragon Caves
Random things I did do: (thanks gut especially for help on these)
Kill the Casino Shopkeeper to level from 20-26
Kill Sharaad-Waador to go from 30-34 (very easy as perm invis + magic missile castings)
