YAVP - first Steam win - HE Archer

I feel I grind exceptionally slowly... almost 41 hours of playtime to get this done!

Haven't played in a while, but bought the Steam pack last year and have played erratically since then.
Used to play (DIE) a lot years ago though. Think I've only ever reached ToEF maybe a dozen times in my playing.
And because of that I think I'm overcautious about the lower levels of CoC.

Anyway. This archer seemed to find all the artifacts. Some great. Some less so.
I was left unsure what was better for a few things, and tended to try and use them based on situation, ie if I was hanging around somewhere with corruption, I wore the anti-corruption stuff!

Main weapon:
RH: blessed black whip of extinction (-4, 2d5) {SLAYS} [15s] - oh yes. Got from pre-crown, checked it out on the wiki and immediately stopped using all other weapons.

Missile weapons:
blessed heavy crossbow "The Far Slayer" (+18, +18) - didn't feel I ever had enough quarrels in stacks to use it consistently, and didn't make more as my long bow worked great.
blessed rune-covered sling "Whirlwind" (+12, +12) - basically never used it. shame.
uncursed long bow of accuracy (+11, +4) - main MW, with an inital stack of 500 arrows after my only fletchery session at Lvl20. (And True Aim, which is great when it comes back...)

Got Strength of Atlas so carried EVERYTHING from about lvl30 onwards.
But started to feel like I had so much stuff that I'd only pick up wands, potions, scrolls, $$, missiles (and anything that looked 'artifacty' to ID), so missed out on a few artifacts that weren't obvious, or I just never saw...

the lead great axe - picked it up, and almost immediately dropped once id'd - it didn't compare to weapons I already had...

Overall, ran around a lot. But early boots of divine, and 7lb kept me under 90 days.
Probably wasted a lot of time levelling up unnecessarily, as once I was in D50 nothing could touch me. And even killed Fisty quite easily before he could get next to me.
I'm normally terrified of being near Balors, Molochs, & even seeing Titans as they just seem to shoot me before I see them, but this Archer just slayed everything and was barely touched after lvl~20.
The most dangerous things for him were ultimate doppelgangers - an early one confused me and I thought it was only a regular doppelganger so had to teleport away!
Emperor (& king) Liches were annoying as their help just blocked my arrows from slaying them.
