Item generated/dropped on closed door

Somehow an item got generated or dropped on top of a closed door:

Save game

A splint mail (weight: 450s) is lying there.
Do you want to open the door? [Y/n]
The door is locked. You don't have any appropriate key to use on the door.
Kick something. Which direction [789456123, Z = ABORT]?
You shatter the door with a mighty kick! By smashing it you activate the trap
protecting the door. Previously hidden runes on the door suddenly
explode! You partially evade the explosion. 1 out of your bundle of 36 arrows
(+0, 1d6) is ripped apart! The noise of the explosion suddenly is
exchanged with absolute silence!
Use the movement keys to position the cursor. Abort with [SPACE] or [Z].
A splint mail (weight: 450s) is lying there.
I don't know how it got there, as it was there when I got there. It wasn't a ghost dying on top of the door, because that removes the door.

I know summoned monsters don't remove wall tiles when dying, so likely not doors either. The question though is, do summons pick up items?

I do obtain the same with mithril spear on the trapped door.
The door led to the trap room. There is no activated traps in the room.

I had this happen with an amulet, it was on the same tile as a door between a room and a corridor, there were no special features anywhere nearby (no tension rooms/traps/altars etc).
I discovered this about ~7 turns after entering that dungeon level so I doubt anything that passes through walls died there.

Most likely fixed by http://www.adom.de/forums/project.php?issueid=3094. I will close it for now and see if it ever happens again.
