Ratling traders don't sell if asked for more goods than they have

If the player asks to buy ratling traders more items than they have, they will tell they only have x amount, but will not sell them.

If a ratling trader has 50 cooked lizards in stock and the player asks for 51, the trader will tell he only has 50 in stock, but he will not sell them. The player needs to ask again for the exact maximum or less to buy any.

Yeah I want this fixed too. I used to enter 99999999 to instabuy all lizards they have.

I normally put in 100, I've never seen them with more than that.
Then it was just "But I only have XY. Here ye are."
I haven't noticed the new behavior, was it introduced in p18?

Wow, I have typed 999 all my life and it will no longer work. But to be honest, I don't think this is a bug. The previous behavior was convenient for those of us who knew it, but it didn't make too much sense. If you go to the bakery and ask for 999 baguettes the guy will surely not stuff the 15 baguettes he has in your bag, he'll just tell you that he only has 15.

I'll be happy either way anyway. Logic or convenience.

Agreed. I say bring back the old behavior for this case, simply as a convenience measure.
