Numpad reads input twice
Numpad reads input twice

When kicking, pickpocketing, or looking numpad with numlock on will be read twice if you press a non-diagonal direction, thus attempting to do the action and then move (or just jump 2 squares for look). Diagonally it works fine. Turning numlock off will make the cardinal directions work correctly but then you can't select a diagonal direction.

Switching to tiles causes it to function as expected except for the look command. Switching back to ascii causes the problem to come back.

Easily reproduced here as well. Have to assume this wasn't an intended change.

Same thing makes stuff like pick pockets rather ugly --- last direction reads twice once for skill and another for attack.

In the meantime, this can be worked around by using arrow keys for cardinal directions and numpad for the diagonals.

Can confirm that this is an issue for me and my friends too when we started playing the new 2.3.5 version in the beta branch. Playing in ASCII mode.

Interestingly (n)ame does not experience the same issue and targeting with it behaves normally with numlock on or off.
