haggling doesn't change the price
haggling affects nothing
When the skill of haggling is applied, the player receives the message: "You make a deal." However, no price change occurs, regardless of how often the skill is applied.
On a side note, haggling is applicable to the farmers and goodwives in Terinyo. Perhaps this means that in future versions they might have something to trade?

The "you make a deal" message is what you get when you haggle with yourself. Naturally this is not going to affect shop prices.

When I pressed "a" to apply a skill, while standing next to Munxip, Haggling was the only skill available to choose. Also, while my character was standing alone, I pressed "a" and received the message: "No skills can be applied at this time."

I feel challenged. The skill seems to be functioning perfectly now. I swear it wasn't working earlier. I must not have been playing the most up-to-date version.
