Shopkeepers will hit you instead of a monster when throwing a gold piece
If you stand in the way of a shopkeep that is aggro'd by a monster, he will hit /you/ with a gold piece instead of the monster.
"The shadow wyrm breathes a cone of cold at you! You are frozen! Rathmeer, the mist elven shopkeeper, does not seem to be amused. Something squeezes past the shadow. Rathmeer, the mist elven shopkeeper throws a 1 gold piece at the shadow wyrm. You are wounded."

He could at least say sorry!

Maybe this is the game's way to get back at people who throw anvils at the floor with beggars in the way. :)

Oh, and "throws a 1 gold piece"?
