Unable to Save and quit
After saving the game does not quit, but continues like nothing happened.
After pressing Ctrl-S (modified from S in adom.kbd - unsure if this has any effect) the game says Fare thee well! and [Press SPACE to continue]. However, after pressing SPACE the game returns to play screen, instead of quitting. Quitting afterwards causes the character to die. So essentially I'm required to complete the game in one go.

Are you using the "Name" parameter in adom.cfg? There's a bug with it (http://www.adom.de/forums/project.php?issueid=2495) causing the same problem you mention.
