Bolt spells don't penetrate armor
Not a single casting of a bolt spell has damaged any opponent yet, down to lowly rats.
Been casting a few bolts here and there with the new version, haven't damaged anything at all yet. It didn't penetrate the armor of rats either, and AFAIK they don't even have PV.
