I like the ability to zoom the visible area. The only thing missing is a first-person view, hehe. No, just kidding. It would be very handy to be able to adjust zoom levels on the fly. Yes, I know, I COULD use the menu, but that would force me to actually move more than neccessary, grabbing the mouse and stuff. Since most functions for the game are available through keystrokes, let us choose our zoom levels thusly. Please. And I'm sorry for the flood of posts. :-)
