Thief: Make Stealing An Action, Not A Prompt
Just a quick annoyance I had from a game a little while back and only just got around to posting. Once a thief unlocks the ability to steal, the prompt on every item becomes massively annoying. I actually stole accidentally and got a character killed.
My suggestion: Make it an activated ability using either its own key or just accessible via the class powers menu everyone else uses. It's rarely used enough I'd happily have it behind a submenu if I didn't have to endure endless prompts when shopping.
It should be invoked in a similar way to Eat or Use, where it shows the items on the ground below you. Obviously if you canceled it wouldn't jump to your inventory. I think most thief players would prefer it this way, although I could be mistaken.
