It was not included in the list, but personally, I think that one of the requirements to get Platinum Girdle (no lawful death, which is not even hinted at) is too harsh.

Beetles, lizards and giants won't grant you resistance if you already "have" it, while drakes and dragons will.


Is this a bug? From what I thought, beetles/giants give you level 1, lizards give you level 2 and drakes and dragons give you level 3.

Eg. if you eat a beetle after eating a drake, your resistance will drop.

This is a really good list! It sounds like JADE should use some kind of arbitrary precision arithmetic to avoid such "wrap around" integer problems in the future.

The idea of "levels" of resistance is incorrect. You either have it or you don't. Multiple sources can improve resistance, and are necessary for the tower, but otherwise there are no different types of the same resistance.

Anyway, I do hope at some point TB will do some very minor, purely bug-fixing update of ADOM just to resolve a couple of the main issues in that list. Whilst ADOM is very stable and the problems aren't game-breaking, it would be nice to consider it completed with some of these issues ironed out before JADE takes over completely.
