I thought "visit all towns" had to all be done in the same saved game.

Was this the first game you went to the HMV?

No, it certainly wasn't. I had a few chars that visited Terinio, bandit town, HMV and Dwarftown before.

Did you go to the ?

One of my previous chars did, but not that one. Could be some weird timing issue.

I don't know exactly how it works, but I am also under the impression that this achievement doesn't work correctly.

A winner character of mine who went to Terinyo, Lawenilothehl, HMV, Dwarftown, Casino, minotaur village, barbarian clearing and I think Mad Minstrel's hut didn't get the achievement.

Maybe there is some other required place (bug temple, to which that character didn't go?) but reports from other people didn't seem to point in that direction.

Steam achivements sometimes act weird. They don't always pop up when you actually get them, sometimes they show up late or next time you open the game. Also keep in mind that if you alter game with ! on character creation it disables achievement gain for that game. It might be a bug too. I haven't gotten it yet, but I haven't visited all locations yet.

The achievement is "visit every town in Ancardia". Only 4 places strike me as "towns". Only one of them is hard-ish to get to (HMV)

If it requires things like the Barbarian Clearing the achievement text seems wrong.

If towns are Terinyo, Lawenilothehl, High Mountain Village and Dwarf Town then achivement is broken. I have visited all four several times on several character and I have this achievement still locked.

It's not just towns that you need to visit, it's the library, mino maze, gremlin cave, ID and it still only activated upon winning, but it activated for me On a normal victory, so you don't need the ultra location to get it I guess.

It activated for me immediately upon entering the abandoned village.

Did you beat the game with a different character first? That's totally different from my experience, but I visited all places with my first steam win.

I don't think the ID should really count as a town. It's just not stable enough.

The "abandoned village"? What is that?

Is that the Minotaur village?
