Run with shift-arrow
w then arrow is unusual...

Most roguelikes let you run using shift-arrow. Now I know ADOM is not most roguelikes, but you think that could be added as another way to run? (Though it was funny that after playing ADOM for a bit, I started pressing w then arrow to run in Angband... didn't work so well! :) )

There's a separate category for feature requests, different from bug requests. If you post this as a feature request instead of a bug, people can interact with it easier.

One problem here is that you can't specify the shift key as a separate entity in the ADOM keyboard layout file. Otherwise, the cursor keys could be set up like this. I suppose ncurses should be able to detect shifted cursor entries?

But how do you move diagonally if you use the "arrow" keys for moving?

Oops, I forgot to switch the dropdown from "bug" to "feature"! Sorry! I don't seem to be able to change it now; could Thomas or some other admin here fix it for me please?

Moving diagonally with shift? Using the numpad, I guess, or if you don't have a numpad, you could use home/pgup/end/pgdn with shift?
