No game turns pass when confused/stunned

The confused and stunned statuses seem to work normally in 1.1.1, but when I was playing 1.2.0 prerelease 1, I noticed that something was amiss.

How to duplicate this bug:

1.) Press ":t" until the bottom right portion of the screen shows the number of game turns elapsed.

2.) Find a doppleganger, gibbering mouther, or other monster with a confusion attack. Once it is found, lure it to to the middle of a room (in order to make the bug's effects observable in a reasonable amount of time).

3.) Become confused by the enemy.

4.) Press some direction key to stagger around. If you hit a wall or monster (or clean your ears or apply first aid), one game turn will be added, and the monster (which has probably amassed enough energy points by now) will attack you. If you stagger to another square, no game turns will be added, and the monster will remain where it is until you lose your confused/stunned status, or hit something.

Some methods to duplicate this bug for being stunned:

1.) Press ":t" until the bottom right portion of the screen shows the number of game turns elapsed. Start an arena fight, teleport out, talk to Dak, and observe.

2.) Or alternatively, press ":t" until the bottom right portion of the screen shows the number of game turns elapsed. Go to the Casino, gamble until you become very hungry and stunned, and observe.

I believe what I was actually observing a different bug [1]. I should've checked this with a variety of characters before submitting an issue.

Well, I tried to replicate this problem today, but was unsuccessful (I was using my default combination, high elven archer). I'll check again with a thief.

I confirm that the bug does exist. For example once I had been confused hardly by a skeleton guarding RotHK and then wandered upon the water with piranhas. I made about 15-20 steps (all the time being confused) on the water but did not get any messages about drowning or any damage -- just nothing happened. Then the confusion state was lost and I was torn by piranhas to death immediately.

Didn't even hope to find that hero but found him :) Now when you asked I think that maybe it's just a drakeling bug because I can't remember such an experience with my dwarven monks or dark elven wizards which I play a lot too (although I might be wrong here).

This looks like the thief searching bug to me. I've never seen this happen with any other R/C.
