Characters have 100 base speed regardless of starting age category. Young characters lose 1 speed upon aging up to adult, resulting in them being slower than characters that started at adult. Young characters should start with 101 base speed. It would resolve this inconsistency, and would also provide a greater incentive to take young characters in point buy, as there would be some compensation for the worse starting attributes.
