Wearing a blessed ring of searching doesn't seem to do anything. I'm a dwarf with Detect Traps at 31, and am basically able to find every single trap in one try by 's'earching. However, in my understanding the ring should do that for me every turn. It doesn't. No traps are found if you don't search for them actively.
