Dwarven Mana Powder Blunderbuss and other Enhancements in Warfare
Over the last thousand years, Dwarves have tirelessly improved upon the methods of killing strangers after their treasures...

Gather ye around whilst I tell thee of the latest improvements in the killing arts...

-Dwarven Blunderbuss, two-handed missile weapon, strikes for (-2,-0) 1d4(+bonus from hardness Material Type) in melee.

Once a turn is spent loading ('U'se command on an equipped, but unloaded weapon uses one Mana Powder and gives a choice screen presenting types of Dwarven Shot in inventory),
the true killing power of this fine weapon is revealed.
At this point the Blunderbuss can be 'U'sed again(or shot like a bow and arrow, at the time of writing this 0_2_0 version has no missile weapons as far as I know).
Range is about the same as a crossbow, with accuracy falling off sharply over distance.
Damage depends on what type of Dwarven Shot is used. A few ideas for Shot are below:

-Dwarven Miniball Shot: damages for 3d10 Blunt type damage and 1d10 Fire damage.
-Dwarven Scatter Shot: damages for 2d6 Blunt type damage and 1d4 Fire damage.
This attack strikes targets in a cone shape see below:

-Dwarven Harpoon Shot: damages for 4d10 Piercing type on a single target
-Dwarven Flame Shot: Fires a rain of flaming pellets that stick to targets and covers the same area as Dwarven Scatter Shot above. Each round after being fired it deals 1d10 Fire damage for 1d4 rounds.

Rumors abound of many more types of Dwarven Shot being experimented and perfected deep within Dwarven Holds. Others speculate about strange devices seen guarding the approaches to the most ancient Dwarven Fortresses. Speculation runs rampant about the powers of these "Cannons" and many believe they are in fact enormous versions of the more common Dwarven Blunderbuss.

A note of caution to any inexperienced user, you are strongly cautioned against your Blunderbuss to strike opponents in melee. You risk dire consequences doing so, as this may imperceptibly warp or crack the barrel. This can even cause a Loaded Blunderbuss to discharge at an inopportune moment. At best you will likely damage the delicate firing mechanism and at worst your weapon may explode the next time you look down the barrel with fatal consequences...You have been warned.
