p9 bug? Three cats dead before Cat Lord alerted
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a new feature. On PC:6, a cat killed the cute dog. Frustrated, I killed the cat. There was no "lifeless body" message. I killed two more cats in PC, still no message. Upon arriving in VD, the first cat I killed generated the message.

This can happen, I don't think it's a bug. The cat lord will still be hostile if you have killed a cat and don't receive the message since it checks your kill list.

Let me make sure I understand this. You broke the rules of a quest and want
to know if you can still succeed in the quest? The answer is no. Not
getting an obvious message doesn't mean your Kitty Karma is unstained; it
just means your character didn't notice the negative effects of their
actions.

I think it is based on a perception check.
