A corpse in my backpack rotted away, giving the 'your equipment suddenly weighs less (more)' info. When I pressed space to move on, I got an error, which said something like 'failed to remove corpse' etc. When I pressed continue I was back at the previous step, having to press space to skip (more). Doing that, caused the error again. Ad infinitum. So my game was basically destroyed.

This happened shortly after I got two or three errors when picking up gold, causing me to lose all my gold each time. In case there's a connection between these bugs.
