Is Achievement: Aware of Danger: 200 turns working as designed?

Achievement reads "Pass through the small cave in less than 200 turns". I unlocked the achievement when I returned and went down on turn #19006. I think the name "Aware of Danger" implies that I would not only pass through quickly, but probably before I was level 8 as is this case. Also perhaps during a single visit rather than multiple.
