Approximately half of the game's artifacts are currently unavailable to be acquired except via crowning by your deity.
Approximately half of the game's artifacts are currently unavailable to be acquired except via crowning by your deity. Two (girdle of emperors and lust for glory) cannot be acqured by any means since they aren't crowning gifts at all. Code dived info seems to suggest that this is a result of a bug:

The game randomly removes half of artifacts from consideration. Except that (appears to have been a one-letter typo, most likely) the wrong index is used for the deletion and it's always the same half.
