I have noticed following behaviour a couple of times.
One of the stats influencing HPMax is updated (e.g. "Your will seems inflexible.").
The statusline shows the increased stats, but the corresponding increase of HPMax (if available) is only visible after the next move.
Clearly not a serious problem, but probably unintended behaviour.
